Does Path of Exile 2 support crossplay on all platforms? With Path of Exile 2 launching across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in Early Access, the game will have crossplay at launch, allowing you to jump in with friends, party up, and begin leveling your character together right from the get-go. With this redefined experience, partying up has been made easier than ever thanks to everyone needing their own Path of Exile account.
Here’s how to party up with your friends and family on other platforms, and thankfully, it’s wonderfully simple!
How do you use Crossplay in Path of Exile 2?
To play with others via crossplay in Path of Exile 2, just add their Path of Exile account ID or invite them through the game’s social and friend system. No matter which platform they are using, they will be able to join your game or become friends. It’s really that simple.
Crossplay works across every single story Act, endgame mode, dungeon, encounter, and mission, allowing you to play the entire game with up to five other friends if you choose. Alongside crossplay, Path of Exile 2 has full cross-progression, allowing you to bring your saves, gear, build, and characters between platforms just where you left them. These features are available in Early Access, but will also carry through to the full game once it is released.
At that point, Path of Exile 2 will be free to play so it will be easier for you to pull in new friends and ARPG fans to play with you, as you won’t need to put down any money. You can also find new friends across any platform using the game’s Guild system or out in the wild while exploring.
Crossplay and cross-progression are among the many quality-of-life features in Path of Exile 2, which also includes several reworked systems designed to better onboard new players while maintaining the depth that fans love.
