Developer Owlcat Games today announced the release of the free Arcane Unleashed DLC for its fantasy cRPG title Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The DLC is now available for all owners of the game.
The Arcane Unleashed DLC adds six new spells that players can use in their adventures, alongside a few other goodies.
The six new spells players can use in Pathfinder: Kingmaker’s Arcane Unleashed DLC are as follows: Create Pit, Spiked Pit, Acid Pit, Hungry Pit, Rift of Ruin and Battering Blast. With the DLC, an arcane scroll merchant will appear in your capital. The scroll quality and quantity is affected by the kingdom’s Arcane stat.
Chromatic and metallic giant dragons have also had their models updated with the release of the Arcane Unleashed DLC.
The final, rather touching, addition is the inclusion of a new pet cat, Tiger. The clawed companion is a recreation of and tribute to the actual pet of a long term community contributor. The real Tiger passed away weeks prior to Pathfinder: Kingmaker’s launch. You can see Tiger, and the rest of what the Arcane Unleashed DLC has to offer in action in the trailer below.
