Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a game for those who love compound nouns. But that's not all, as it is also a game for those of us who enjoy CRPG titles, with core mechanics and gameplay that have been put to the test of time and are tried and true. It will be the very first video game adaptation of the Pathfinder universe and ruleset, and it's looking mighty promising already.
Aside from the standard CRPG fare of party creation and modular, tactical combat mechanics, Pathfinder: Kingmaker will also allow the players to partake in open-world activities both as an adventurer and as a ruler, for they will take helm as the head of an entire realm - something that's somewhat unprecedented in this type of game. Expect intrigue and cloak-and-dagger style of politics, in any case.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker will be coming out digitally and in select retail shops on 25th of September, 2018, and will be offered in four different editions, each of which promises to pack a number of additional goodies. Aside from the basic edition, that is.
