When will Payday 3’s Syntax Error DLC be released? The excitement over Payday 3’s launch keeps building up as we get closer to the game’s launch, and to add to the hype, Starbreeze Studios has unveiled what’s in the works in the upcoming months.
According to the game’s roadmap, Syntax Error will be the first DLC added, followed by three other packs next year. Here’s everything we know so far about the Syntax Error DLC release date for Payday 3.
Payday 3 Syntax Error DLC Release Date
Payday 3’s first DLC, Syntax Error, is scheduled to be released in Winter 2023. Although the exact date for the Syntax Error DLC is yet to be announced, the Year 1 roadmap reveals three other upcoming DLCs and additional content players can expect.
The other DLCs listed in the roadmap are Boys in Blue (Spring 2024), The Land of the Free (Summer 2024), and Fear and Greed (Fall 2024). Meanwhile, the additional content includes new playable characters, seasonal events, new enemies, weapons, features, skill lines, cosmetics, quality of life updates, and an unreal engine 5 update. For those who didn’t know, the game was developed in Unreal Engine 4, but with plans to upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 post-launch.
Currently, there’s not much information about what will be included in the Syntax Error DLC. However, looking at past DLCs from Payday 2, this could include a new heist location, new weapons, cosmetics, and more. We’ll update this article once more information is available, so make sure to stay tuned.
