Phasmophobia throws all manners of terrifying ghosts - like the Phantom - your way, some of which are known in folk tales and popular culture for their possession capabilities.
But is Phasmophobia Phantom possession a possibility at the moment or are your teammates behaving weirdly because of the occasional glitch?
While a recent update allows your dead teammates to grab and throw objects at you, which can definitely increase the spook count, the answer to the question above seems to be the latter.
Phasmophobia Phantom Possession
Simply put, Phasmophobia Phantom possession isn’t part of the popular ghost hunting game at the moment.
While that’ll definitely disappoint some players, it’s worth keeping in mind that we’re talking about a game that’s still in Early Access. Developer Kinetic Games has even said that its popularity will likely lead to an extended stay in Early Access.
This still leaves plenty of time for Phasmophobia Phantom possession to be added to the game, and we’ll update this article as soon as we learn new details about it.
In the meantime, check out the Phasmophobia roadmap, alongside our guides on using the Spirit Box and Crucifix.
