Frontier Developments, the developers of Planet Coaster have announced that their rather addictive amusement ride sim will be getting a brand new expansion pack on July 10! Called the 'Vintage Pack', this latest DLC will be bundling up a whole lot of - you've guessed it - vintage-themed stuff for your consideration.
In detail, these are:
New coasters: Zephyrus and Aces Sky - historic, wooden coasters that will give your parks a special charm, courtesy of their exquisite, garnished furniture
New rides: Round the World, Loop Da Loop, Test Flight, Hurricane and Centrum - the names are particularly descriptive this time around, little additional explanation needed aside from - get ready for some serious airtime.
New park and scenery items: Iconic Vending Machines, Vintage Scenery and various Entertainment items - to spruce things up to eleven in this new, chic vintage style. You know you want the baubles.
Classic audio: Brand spanking new music by JJ Ipsen to provide just the right ambience for your vintage theme parks to truly come alive.
The entire DLC will be available via Steam for $10.99, as per usual.
However, this is not all that's soon coming to Planet Coaster. Alongside the DLC, all players will also be granted a completely free content update featuring a whole new coaster! The Mouse Hunt will thus arrive to fill an almost altogether forgotten niche of worryingly rickety, bumpy rides that would probably never pass an inspection in real life. Also included in the free content update is a new Crane Machine minigame for your guests to play, brand new food and drink vending machines, plants and more, as well as additional park manipulation options.
Stay tuned for all of this and more to release on 10th of June via Steam.
