Publisher and developer Frontier Developments today unveiled Planet Zoo: Australia Pack as the zoo simulator’s next paid DLC.
Planet Zoo: Australia Pack’s release date is set for Tuesday, August 25, which is when PC players will be able to pick the DLC up on Steam for the price of £7.99/$9.99/€9.99.
Planet Zoo: Australia Pack will introduce five new animals, timed scenarios, alongside a plethora of new building, foliage and scenery pieces inspired by the Australian Outback. The free summer 1.3 content update will also launch on the same date for all owners of the base game.
Planet Zoo: Australia Pack DLC and Free Summer 1.3 Update
Zookeepers will be able to exhibit and look after the following new animals when Planet Zoo’s Australia Pack DLC launches:
- Koala
- Red Kangaroo
- Dingo
- Southern Cassowary
- Eastern Blue-Tongued Lizard
“Taking inspiration from the great outback, players can upcycle their zoos with a range of eye-catching zoo construction pieces, while spectacular fauna and flora evokes the beauty and wonder of contemporary Australian architecture.” reads an emailed press release.
The Australia Pack DLC’s timed scenarios are a new addition to Planet Zoo that task players with putting their zookeeping skills to the test by completing different objectives in a set time limit.
Also launching on August 25, Planet Zoo’s free 1.3 content update looks to increase the game’s animal color variation while introducing an animal food management page, a new sandbox map and a free Estonia timed scenario.
