Planet Zoo is due out in a few days and developer Frontier Developments has shared a rather comprehensive list of the title’s release times, while discussing Beta progress carrying over, pre-loading and Steam Workshop support.
Sadly, it’s now confirmed that players will not be able to pre-load Planet Zoo in the days leading up to its launch on November 5.

While Planet Zoo pre-loading won’t be possible, players will be able to transfer over some of their progress from the game’s beta. More specifically, the Career Mode - Scenario 1 save file should carry over just fine.
That, however, will not be the case with Franchise Mode saves, and the developer recommends starting over regardless of mode “for the best play experience”.
Steam Workshop blueprints uploaded during Planet Zoo’s beta will remain online and should be compatible with the game’s full version. If issues appear, it will be likely due to updated assets that could require repositioning.
Planet Zoo is scheduled to launch on PC come November 5.
