Sony today unveiled the newest batch of PlayStation Plus monthly free games that subscribers will be able to access during April 2023. The newest set of titles includes a day-one release, a former exclusive, alongside an indie hand-drawn RPG adventure.
April 2023’s PS Plus monthly free games will be available to subscribers across all three tiers starting on Tuesday, April 4. You have until Monday, May 1 to add the titles to your library. Doing so enables you to play them at any time, as long as you have an active subscription, even after they are replaced by a new set of games.
PlayStation Plus Monthly Free Games of April 2023
Kicking off the list of PlayStation Plus monthly free games of April 2023 is Meet Your Maker, the new post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game from Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive.
Every level in it is designed by players, and you can both set up your own outposts, choosing the placement of deadly guards and traps, as well as put other players’ creations to the test while looking for the best loadout to help you get the job done.
PS Plus Free Games April 2023
- Meet Your Maker
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Tails of Iron
Sackboy: A Big Adventure offers several hours’ worth of platforming fun that you can take part in on your own or alongside others in both local and online multiplayer.
It also brings some much-needed balance to this month’s color palette, contrasting the bloody, rusted look of Meet Your Maker, with clean, bright colors.
Tails of Iron wraps up April 2023’ monthly free PS Plus games with an indie hand-drawn RPG adventure. Its cute, cartoonish visuals might suggest otherwise, but helping Redgi, heir to the Rat Throne, restore a broken Kingdom involves surviving plenty of brutal combat encounters.
You won’t go at it alone, as companions do come to your aid, the power of friendship complementing the recipes for new meals and blueprints for new armor and weapons that you find along the way.
