Publisher and developer Omeda Studios today announced that third-person MOBA Predecessor has locked down the start date of its PlayStation closed beta to the first part of December.
Based on Epic Games’ ill-fated MOBA Paragon and developed using Unreal Engine 5, Predecessor has spent almost one year in PC early access so far.

NA and EU players on both PS4 and PS5, can take part by registering on the game’s website.
Predecessor’s PlayStation closed beta will feature 30 playable heroes, each with its distinctive set of skills as well as crossplay support. Progress will persist once testing concludes.
The title pits two teams of five against each other, tasking them to battle across a traditional three-lane map that also features a jungle section and various monsters.
As you eliminate minions, destroy owers or annihilate enemy heroes, you gain gold which can be spent on items from the game’s in-game shop, thus increasing your hero’s power.
While the third-person perspective brings you closer to the action, communication and teamwork remain vital if you plan on achieving victory.
Predecessor’s PlayStation closed beta might only start in December, but you can already immerse yourself in its atmosphere by checking out its latest trailer below.
