With only a few days left prior to Red Dead Redemption 2 finally arriving on PC, players eager for a Wild West adventure can now pre-load the title.
It’s not a small one, either, with the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC pre-load’s file size clocking in at no less than 109.5GB.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Pre-load
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC pre-loading is only available on the Rockstar Games Launcher at the moment. There’s no word on whether the Epic Games Store – on which the title will launch one month prior to heading to Steam – will give players the option of pre-loading the title.
The only title to receive pre-loading support on Epic’s storefront, up until now, is Borderlands 3. Players were eventually able to download the title 48 hours prior to launch after Epic and publisher 2K issued contradictory statements regarding the availability of pre-loading up to release.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the title’s system requirements place its total file size at 150GB. It remains to be seen whether that’ll constitute a separate download on or prior to launch day.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch on PC (via the Epic Games Store and Rockstar Games Launcher) next week, on November 5. It will then make its way to Steam this December.
