The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 could get the zombie treatment soon, as work on a mod based on Undead Nightmare is now underway.
Undead Nightmare is a standalone expansion for the original Red Dead Redemption that introduced the undead in a separate single-player campaign. As Rockstar seems to have moved away from single-player expansions lately, modders have already picked up the slack for Undead Nightmare 2.

The first footage of the Undead Nightmare 2 mod was uploaded on YouTube by user jedijosh920, and can be watched at the end of the article.
The video starts with Arthur Morgan being chased by a pack of surprisingly stabby NPCs that may not look much like zombies but sure do act like some.
If the video is anything to go by, the Undead Nightmare 2 mod will make zombies able to spawn all across Red Dead Redemption 2’s world.
At the moment nothing suggests that the mod will attempt a full-on story campaign, though.
