Remnant 2’s Iron comes into play from the very early stages of any campaign. You’ll find it as you explore your first world and kill enemies, only to later discover that it plays a crucial role in upgrading weapons.

As far as how to find iron in Remnant 2 goes, you simply need to play the game, preferably while exploring as much of every area as you can.
Not only can the material drop from killed enemies, but it’s often found on the ground in corners or on ledges that aren’t exactly on the beaten path.
You also have a chance to find it when opening chests or breaking objects. In addition, Cass in Ward 13 also sells it for Scrap, although you may want to avoid spending your main currency on it unless you absolutely need to, since it has better uses like actually upgrading your arsenal.
As you play and your character’s level increases, you’ll notice that different types of iron (like forged or galvanized iron) begin to drop. They are required for higher-tier upgrades.
Remnant 2 doesn’t have a dedicated farming method for iron, from what we can tell. Simply playing the game as you normally would and rerolling your campaign and Adventure mode runs once completed should secure you a good amount of the material.
It may be quicker to primarily rely on Adventure mode when you’re looking to build up your resource stock, thanks to its shorter length.
