As you play <href=”https://www.gamewatcher.com/games/remnant-2”>Remnant 2</a>, you obtain a plethora of items that have different uses, from straightforward weapons and armor, to more esoteric ones whose purpose might not be immediately obvious. The Old Metal Tool counts among the latter, and is one which you’ll want to know how to get if the Challenger archetype sounds fun to you.
Remnant 2’s Old Metal Tool is a Material that you can purchase from Reggie, who is one of the NPCs in Ward 13. He also sells a variety of grenades and other consumables and waits for you near a table with a chess board on top of it. His fellow trader NPC, Mudtooth, is also nearby.
Remnant 2 Old Metal Tool
To get the Old Metal Tool in Remnant 2, you’ll have to pay Reggie 1,500 scrap. With it in your inventory, you can use it to unlock the Challenger archetype, provided you haven’t chosen it when starting the playthrough.
To do so, you’ll have to find Wallace, an NPC that waits in a shack that you can reach by climbing halfway to the top of the metal structure that’s near the crane, in the eastern part of Ward 13, then crossing the makeshift wooden bridge.
Wallace can use the material alongside several Luminite Crystals and 1,000 scrap to craft the Steel Enswell engram, which is the item you can slot into your prime or secondary archetype slots. This enables you to add the Challenger’s skills to your arsenal.
That is what you need to know about how to get Remnant 2’s Old Metal Tool and what it unlocks.
