The Citadel Curse is a special debuff/negative status effect that can affect your character in Remnant: From the Ashes. This curse appears at random during one of the late-game dungeons, and there’s but one way to lift it.
This guide will teach you not only how to lift the Citadel Curse, but also how to deal with it when you’re affected, and what items you may want to have at the ready to help you in lifting it. Find all the relevant details below.
Remnant: From the Ashes Citadel Curse
There’s no telling when the Citadel Curse debuff might affect you. This late-game affliction appears when you’re stuck getting through a difficult dungeon, and it’s just going to make things worse until you can lift it. The problem is that the only way to lift the Citadel Curse is to finish the dungeon it’s affecting you in.
The Citadel Curse is a poison-like effect that continually diminishes your available health until you can be one-shot by the weakest enemy you come across. Obviously, this is less than ideal, but there is a way to combat the problem. Namely, the weakness of the Citadel Curse lies is that, while it does keep damaging you, it also allows you to gain health on killing enemies. The solution, then, is in maintaining a steady murder battery until you reach the end of the dungeon you’re trapped in.
An item that could also prove useful to have during your Citadel Curse affliction is the Twisted Mask, as it provides a small healing effect. Equipping a fast-firing crowd control weapon such as the Chicago Typewriter might not be a bad idea, either. Another tip would be to equip some good armour.
Best of luck!
