Corsus is not as affected by the Root as other planets/realms of Remnant: From The Ashes are, but that doesn’t mean it plays host to weaker enemies. Quite the contrary, Corsus enemies are a particularly tough bunch.
While one of the main threats will be the realm’s humanoid Iskal creatures, the swamps of Corsus are also filled to the brim with horrific Colossi and Crawler monsters, each of which brings a different challenge to the table.
Corsus Enemies
Firstly, here’s the full list of enemies found in Corsus:
- Swamp Hound
- Crawler
- Banshee
- Infected Iskal
- Iskal Crossbowman
- Colossus
You’ll be happy to hear that the Swamp Hounds, Crawlers, and the Banshees are basic enemies that shouldn’t pose too much of a threat on their own. This varied bunch of mobs will, however, try to rush and demolish you at every turn, so prepare accordingly. The usual suspects such as the Spitfire or the Chicago Typewriter should do the trick.
Equipping shotguns may also be a good idea, as many of Corsus’ enemies will try to bum-rush you from all sides. Having something that can keep them at bay may prove crucial for your continued survival, especially if you’re trying to tackle Corsus solo.
Iskal Crossbowmen may be slightly more problematic than the ones mentioned above due to their fast and powerful ranged attacks. That said, the main threat in Corsus will likely be the Colossi mobs, which are stronger and tankier than any other normal enemy found in this region.
If the stuff we’ve described above scares you, perhaps you’d like to look over the full list of Remnant’s armor sets to pick something to tackle these beasties in? Good luck, in any case.
