Resident Evil 2 Remake is great, that much we can agree on, but there's only so many times that you can play the same thing over and over again. As of late, fans have been getting interested in a Resident Evil 2 Remake Randomiser, and it seems one might be on its way.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake Randomiser would - hypothetically - do exactly what it says on the tin - randomise all of the non-crucial items and enemies to make for a vastly different playthrough experience with each new start of the game.
Is there a Resident Evil 2 Remake Randomiser?</h2>
Though there is no official Resident Evil 2 Remake Randomiser on the horizon, modder Benn Powell has been hard at work on creating one on his own. Being the original creator of the intriguing REmake Randomiser mod, Powell has definitely got the moxy to see this project through, so we might get the chance to play a randomised version of RE2R soon.
In practice, this would mean that ammunition, healing items, and even weaponry would get strewn around the Racoon City PD willy-nilly, with the same principle applying to most enemies, too. Imagine turning a corner at the very start of the game only to get face-to-face with a prowling Licker.
Randomisation would allow for interesting and weird playthrough opportunities, and a greatly increased replayability. Of course, it remains to be seen whether we'll get the Randomiser at all, but things are definitely looking up.
