Braving the streets of the zombie-infested Raccoon City in Resident Evil 3 Remake can lead to discovering items like the blue gem that can end up helping in the fight against Nemesis.
But what is the blue gem used for in Resident Evil 3 Remake and, if you’ve yet to discover its location, where can you find it? We’re here to help.
Resident Evil 3 Remake Blue Gem
In order to obtain the Resident Evil 3 Remake blue gem, you’re going to need to head Downtown, to the supermarket with the red and yellow sign. Upon approaching, you’ll notice its doors are locked using a chain that can only be opened using bolt cutters.
Naturally, you should head towards the supermarket only after you’ve obtained the bolt cutters. You should get your hands on them by simply playing through the Resident Evil 3 Remake campaign, finding them in a safe room past the area where you extinugish a fire using the fire hose.
With the bolt cutters equipped simply enter the supermarket and, inside, you’ll find a fancy box containing the blue gem.
You can use the blue gem to unlock upgrades for your shotgun in the subway station at the start of Resident Evil 3 Remake. Simply look for the strange clock to the left of the Item Box.
