Resident Evil Resistance is the asymmetrical multiplayer mode that accompanies the highly anticipated Resident Evil 3 Remake. As it’s attached to a multiplatform title, players are likely wondering about whether or not it will support cross-platform play.
Here’s what we know about Resident Evil Resistance crossplay support and whether or not it will be available at launch.
Resident Evil Resistance Crossplay Support
Supporting between 2 and 5 players, Resident Evil Resistance provides a different experience from Resident Evil 3 Remake’s singleplayer campaign, its multiplatform release making it ripe territory for crossplay support.
At the time of writing, however, Capcom has yet to bring up the subject of cross-platform play in Resident Evil Resistance.
Unless the developer aims to surprise its fanbase, it’s likely safe to assume that Resident Evil Resistance crossplay support won’t be in next week when the title launches.
That, however, still leaves the possibility of cross-platform support coming to the online mode later down the line in an update.
We’ll monitor the situation and update this post should Capcom announce the addition of crossplay to Resident Evil Resistance.
