Returnal is finally ready to make its long-rumored PC debut and, as its February launch approaches, Sony and developer Housemarque have shared comprehensive details about the game’s system requirements and PC features.
Returnal’s PC specs accommodate a broad range of hardware but if you’re relying on an older graphics card or CPU, you will have to sacrifice some of the game’s visual quality to get a silky smooth frame rate.
Returnal System Requirements
According to a post on the official PlayStation blog, an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB) paired with an Intel i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X are enough to get 60 FPS while playing the game on its high preset at 1080p.
A GTX 1060 card or Radeon RX 580 is as low as you can go to run the game on low settings, while those with 4K aspirations need to have not just a newer CPU and GPU but also 32 GB RAM. Here are the full Returnal PC specs:

Returnal’s PC features include Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR support alongside Nvidia Image Scaling for players who are also looking for an increase in performance but whose hardware doesn’t support the previous two technologies.
Ray-traced reflections have been added and you can witness the game in all its glory in both ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) resolutions.
Dolby Atmos, two 3D audio solutions, alongside 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound are also part of the package.
Returnal’s PC version launches with keyboard and mouse support, which includes rebindable keys, but DualSense controller owners can also take advantage of full haptic feedback and its adaptive triggers.
