As Riders Republic approaches its late October release, Ubisoft has now revealed the game’s Year 1 roadmap, detailing the post-launch support that’s coming our way.
Riders Repubic’s Year 1 roadmap comes with four seasons that bring a several new gameplay additions, including BMX as a brand new sport, alongside cosmetic items available to owners of the game’s premium Year 1 Pass.
The Grand Opening pre-season kicks things off at launch with four modes – Mass Race, Tricks Battle, Free for All, and Versus – as well as weekly challenges that unlock exclusive rewards. Year 1 Pass owners get the Rocket Bike and Rocket Skis, two of the eight Exotic Kits planned to release during the game’s first year. Players who don’t own the Year 1 Pass will still be able to try these kits out during live activities.
Season 1, called Winter Bash, adds a seasonal progression to Riders Republic, letting players unlock rewards by taking part in “time-limited multiplayer experiences, events, and special activities.” Year 1 Pass owners will get access to additional Exotic Kits alongside an exclusive cosmetic bundle.
Season 2, Showdown Time, adds the 6v6 Showdown mode, which sees players jumping into arenas and competing to collect more gems than their opponents.
Lastly, Season 3 includes the BMX Sport add-on, which comes with its own dedicated arenas. Year 1 Pass owners get exclusive access to the BMX career with new sponsors, events, as well as another legendary cosmetic bundle.
Riders Republic Year 1 roadmap comes with a fair chunk of free content but, if you’re eyeing out the cosmetic goodies in the Year 1 Pass, you can get it as part of the game’s Gold and Ultimate Editions, as well as individually once the game is out.
Riders Republic is slated to launch on October 28 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
