For fans of cell-shaded comic book style shooters like Borderlands comes the frantic FPS rogue-lite Roboquest. The single-player and 2-person co-op title will be launching for Xbox consoles and PC as a Game Preview on Game Pass soon.
As the name implies, there’s some serious robot energy here, with tons of fun to be had if you’re also a fan of DOOM and its intense run and gun gameplay that keeps you on your toes and your gun always moving.
Roboquest Xbox Game Pass
Beginning on 22 February 2022, Roboquest will be available on Game Pass, complete with cross-play so you can game with your friends no matter what they play on.
Roboquest also sports randomly generated environments making each run a unique experience, with tons of collectable upgrades and abilities that can be carried over between games as your character develops.
If you’d rather wait for the full game, it is set to exit early access on 20 August 2022, which is quite a long time to wait. If you’re looking for something that you can enjoy today, Borderlands 3 basically perfected the action and is worth a look.
