Rocket League’s Season 14, like its peers, brings new rewards while giving competitively-minded players a fresh start on the ladder. Knowing the start and end date of a season can let you plan things out in order to get as much stuff as possible.
With Season 13 soon coming to an end, here’s everything you need to know about the Rocket League Season 14 start and end date.
Rocket League Season 14 Start and End Date
Rocket League’s Season 14 start date coincides with the release of the game’s Rocket Pass 6, scheduled to launch on March 25. Once you’ve downloaded the update introducing the new pass, you’re free to participate in the new season.
As with all seasons before it, Rocket League’s Season 14 comes with a soft reset that will require players to go through placement matches in order to determine their competitive rank.
Rocket League Seasons are rather notorious for not lasting for a fixed amount of time, which makes determining the exact Season 14 end date rather tricky without an official announcement from developer Psyonix.
If the average duration of 3-5 months initially suggested that Season 14’s end date could be scheduled for late June at the earliest, Psyonix has since announced that both the Season and Rocket Pass 6 will run until Rocket League’s major summer update goes live.
On September 15, a leaked image from the Nintendo website was spotted and posted on Reddit, suggesting that Rocket League will go free-to-play on September 23, which would also be the Season 14 end date.
Hours later, developer Psyonix confirmed that the game’s free update is set to drop on September 23, bringing with it the end of Season 14.
We’ll keep an eye out for any Season 14 end date announcements and update this article as soon as we know more. Rocket League is out now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
