Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV sees the announcement of the next expansion pack, Diplomacy and Strategy. This latest addition to the historic simulation is due for release across Europe sometime this winter, which will also coincide with the release of the game for Nintendo Switch.
The Diplomacy and Strategy expansion pack aims to round off those areas of the game, introducing trade with the great Eurasian empires of Rome and India. Strategy is also set to intensify with the addition of cities of foreign forces onto the map which are intended to up the stakes with intense border clashes in every skirmish.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms Changes
To diversify the game even more, new geographical advantages will be given to each province and offer different strategic possibilities depending on what provinces a player owns. These can offer increased conquest area, trade with local tribes, and many more, making expansion choices much more interesting.
Finally, new officer characteristics and special tactics will appear alongside new buildings for specific land types, a calender that lets you look back at past activities, and an all-new campaign, War Chronicles Mode. If you want to check out the game, you can find it on Steam for $49.99.
