Seven years after its reveal, Scorn is finally ready to welcome us into its hellish, biomechanical halls. As developer Ebb Software puts on the finishing touches for its long-awaited game, it has shed some light on the title’s system requirements.
Scorn’s PC specs are fairly accommodating to older PCs, so if you’re still rocking a 1060 or AMD equivalent, you should at least be able to run the game.
The title did, however, leave a lasting impression thanks to its Gigeresque visuals; taking full advantage of them will require a 20-series Nvidia card, according to the developer.
Here’s how Scorn’s system requirements look at the moment:
Scorn Minimum System Requirements
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: QuadCore AMD Ryzen 3 3300X / Intel Core i5-8400
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD (Solid State Drive)
Scorn Recommended System Requirements
- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600/Intel Core i7-8700
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2070 (8 GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD (Solid State Drive)
The atmospheric survival horror game received a lengthy gameplay trailer during this year’s Xbox & Bethesda showcase.
It gave us a proper look at its environments, the hands-on approach to navigating them, as well as the guns we can use to dispatch the flesh beasts which inhabit its halls.
Scorn is currently set to launch on October 21 when it arrives on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
