- Sea of Thieves Season 6 start date: March 10

Sea of Thieves Season 6 Content and Details
Sea of Thieves Season 6 introduces Sea Forts whose phantoms and sea captains you must defeat in order to unlock their treasury and take off with their rewards. The six available come in three different themes – prison-themed, overgrown, and Spanish-inspired – and are built with solo players and smaller crews in mind.
Pirate Legend Voyages are also on the way as a new type of replayable content and the first one will launch in the second half of Season 6. These send players to new maps in search of treasure, diving underwater to uncover the secrets of shipwrecked graveyards, or exploring haunted islands. Like the Sea Forts, they will also tie into the season’s stronger narrative focus.
Adventures are a new type of content that aims to push Sea of Thieves’ story forward. Introduced through cinematic trailers, players can expect three adventures per season, one arriving each month and lasting for about two weeks. Season 6’s first, Shrouded Islands, is set to launch on February 17.
Aside from their own narrative threads, Adventures also provide explanations for in-game activities and live events. In addition, players’ decisions during key Adventures will have an impact on the story’s outcome and the game’s world, changing both as the story progresses.
Mysteries are another new type of content that will be introduced starting with Season 6. Lasting longer than Adventures, they will see players working together to piece together clues both inside and outside the game. The first one will see players solving the murder of “a well-known character,” according to the developer.
The monthly Emporium content and seasonal Plunder Pass also make a return.
