Since launch, Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies error has been popping up at the worst of times for certain players. If you’re unlucky enough to be on the receiving end, you’ll find that the game won’t move past the final loading screen before you’d normally be free to sail the seas.
The only thing worse than encountering Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies error is now knowing what it means or how to fix it. That’s what we’ll try to cover in this article. Read on below for a few tips that should, hopefully, get you in the game and grinding away for that sweet Renown.
Developer Rare names a conflict between the game and players’ antivirus software as one possible cause for Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies error appearing. The three following pieces of software are, apparently, the main culprits:
- COMODO
- Kaspersky
- WARSAW/gas tecnologia
The developer suggests using a different antivirus “until the issue is resolved,” which isn’t all that helpful if your choice of antivirus differs from the ones mentioned above. Regardless of what protects of your computer, it’s always good to check your firewall settings and make sure that Sea of Thieves isn’t blocked.
That being said, other players have had luck getting past Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies error by simply restarting the game. Another potential solution involves making sure that the Set time automatically option is ticked in the Date & Time section of Windows’ options menu and that your date and time are not behind or ahead.
The error seems to have multiple causes and, sometimes, the only thing you can do is wait. Sea of Thieves is available now on PC, Xbos Series X/S, and Xbox One.
