Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice may represent a significantly different take on the classic From Software Soulsborne formula, but it does retain a number of features that their previous games championed. Gourd Seeds, for example, are simply a reskinned Estus mechanic.
Sekiro Gourd Seeds locations are, with that in mind, one of the most important things to find if you're interested in upgrading the One-Armed Wolf, Sekiro. Here, you're going to learn where and how to find Gourd Seeds in Sekiro.
Where are the Gourd Seeds in Sekiro?</h2>
Here's a conclusive list of Gourd Seed pickups for you to seek out in Sekiro:
- kill general Naomori Kawarada near the Outskirts Wall, Gate Path Shrine
- kill the Chained Ogre, then grapple to the top of the wall where he was chained; turn left and the Gourd Seed should be there
- find the cross-legged mummy soon after emerging from the Abandoned Dungeon in the Mt. Kongo area, the Seed will be in front of it
- follow the large staircase through the front gate of the Ashina Castle; grapple onto the high walls on the side, so that you can move around across rooftops; go to the back of the main tower and locate an open window - the Seed will be in a chest inside this room
- locate the large staircase after fighting the Horse-rider general, on the Battlefield; follow the staircase until you reach a tall tower, on the right side of which you'll find a merchant selling a Gourd Seed for 1000 Sen
- go to the room with crow ninjas on the rooftops of Ashina Castle; there, you'll find a thief hiding from some nearby guards; kill all enemies that are close by, and the thief will appear near the Dilapidated Temple selling various items, one of which will be a Gourd Seed
So far, this is all we've got on Sekiro Gourd Seeds, but if we come across any new ones, we'll be sure to add them to the list. Happy hunting!
