Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Flying Wild Hog today announced that Shadow Warrior 3 is in development and coming our way next year.
Shadow Warrior 3’s teaser trailer, which you can check out below, features famed protagonist Lo Wang which delivers a mix of over-the-top action with a hefty amount of dismemberment and blood.
The series’ trademark one-liners also make a return in Shadow Warrior 3 which will also feature improved visuals and new ways of traversing levels like wall running and a grappling hook.

“Shadow Warrior 3 finds Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla embarking on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again.”, reads a press release detailing the upcoming title’s premise.
We’ll get our first glimpse at Shadow Warrior 3 gameplay next week, on July 11 at 12:00 PM PT/8:00 PM BST, during the Devolver Direct event which will be livestreamed on Twitch.
