The years it spent in development have ensured that there is plenty of anticipation surrounding Skull and Bones. If its 2022 re-reveal happens to have sparked your interest, you may be interested in knowing how its Insider Program works alongside how the game’s beta schedule might look.
Skull and Bones Insider Program behaves similar to its industry peers, giving lucky players the chance to try out the game before it releases. In this way, you get to play it early and provide feedback while the development team gets a better sense of how players interact with the world and each other.
Skull and Bones Insider Program
To register for it, all you need to do is log in with your Ubisoft Connect account at the bottom part of the game’s official website.
This gives you a chance to be invited at some point in the future, although publisher Ubisoft does note that it intends to keep the program small in size, at least at first.
Skull and Bones’ Insider Program is also initially available only on PC. That being said, if you navigate to the website’s main page and scroll to the bottom, you’ll find a button that allows you to register for future live tests.
There, you can also select the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as your platform of choice. It’s possible that the Insider Program might extend to them at a later date or the two consoles will take part in separate tests.
As far as the Skull and Bones beta schedule is concerned, we don’t know much at the moment. The publisher has yet to provide any dates.
It’s possible that we’ll get some Skull and Bones beta tests one or two months prior to release, but we’ll have to wait and see. We’ll update this article as soon as we know more.
While we wait, you may want to refresh your memory on how multiplayer and single-player work in Ubisoft’s latest pirate game.
