Skull and Bones brings us one step closer to living the life of a pirate, commanding a fleet of ships, searching for treasure, and blowing up rivals on the way. Much like the title’s vision, the gaming landscape has changed since it was first announced, so it’s only fair to wonder if we might see it arriving on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at some point in 2023.
Skull and Bones’ presence on PC Game Pass would give interested players a cheaper way to jump into the game and see what it’s all about, as the service does with many other titles.
Skull and Bones Xbox Game Pass
Unfortunately, no signs currently point towards Skull and Bones making its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC version at launch, despite releasing on both platforms.

Microsoft’s subscription service wasn’t mentioned during the game’s extended showcase in July 2022 and there’s likely a good reason for it.
Ubisoft+ is the publisher’s own subscription service which offers access to its latest releases on day 1. As expected, Skull and Bones will be available to subscribers, so it’s still possible to play the game without committing to a full purchase right away.
Whether or not Skull and Bones will eventually end up making its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart remains to be seen. There’s always a chance it will join the service’s growing library later and, should that happen, we’ll update this article.
For more help with the game, here’s what we know about crossplay and a potential Steam release.
