Specialist strategy game publisher Slitherine Ltd is continuing to sign new developers and titles to its K-Project program. As we’ve previously covered, the K-Project aims to help get struggling strategy games to market during the current crisis, while ensuring developers retain complete IP rights to their games.
The third and latest game to pass muster and join Slitherine’s ranks is ICBM, an Intercontinental Balistic Missile simulator inspired by the classic Cold War movie, WarGames. However, unlike the film, the only way to win is to play, by taking control of a nuclear superpower on the brink of war.
Attempt to maximise the annihilation of your enemies whilst preserving as much of your homeland as possible. Like the movie, players can fight against advanced AI in single player campaigns, but the real blast is facing off against up to 6 human opponents in an online competitive mode.
ICBM Joins K-Project Line-up
- Quick fire games where the arms race lasts less than half an hour
- Every player can adjust the game speed
- Form alliances, but remember that betrayal is always around the corner
- Research or steal the world’s most advanced military technologies
- Build bombers, stealth planes, and submarines to carry your payloads
- Utilise intricate research trees and discover infinite options for warfare
