Coinciding with Steam’s massive Skulls for the Skull Throne sales event, strategy developer Slitherine has released new content for their Warhammer IPs. Updates, DLC, new multiplayer modes, and achievements all await those gamers who can handle the grim darkness of the far future.
Warhammer 40,000: Gladius is 40Ks answer to the 4X genre and it’s getting the Assault Pack DLC. This pack includes a new unique unit for every faction that pushes mobility and offensive power to the limit. There’s something for everyone though, with free players enjoying the new terrain feature of The Skull Altar along with getting full support for the Steam Workshop to make modding easier.

Warhammer 40,000: Santus Reach is also getting new features, and they’re all for free. The turn-based tactics game widely considered to be as close to the tabletop as it’s possible to be sees huge multiplayer improvements. First on the list is co-op games, letting you fight side by side to conquer the finally arrived Steam Achievements.
However, the main talking point is Slitherine’s new Tournament System. This tournament manager is designed for one purpose, letting players focus on playing while the system handles the ladders, pairings, and score keeping throughout extended automated competitions. Will you make it to the finals?
With the Skulls for the Skull Throne Steam event, most of these titles are selling at a discount, with Gladius being £10.84, and Sanctus at £6.89. There’s also Complete Editions available containing the many DLCs already released for up to 70% off.
