SnowRunner launched with a hefty serving of content which includes 40 vehicles and multiple regions for players to adventure in. That, however, is just the beginning, as its Season Pass aims to offer more content throughout the year.
Here is everything we know about SnowRunner’s Season Pass, what it contains, its schedule and phase release dates.
SnowRunner Season Pass Schedule and Phase Release Dates
The SnowRunner Season Pass can be purchased either separately or as part of the game’s Premium Edition. Owners already have access to the following goodies:
- Derry Longhorn 4520 Sabertooth Livery
- High Roller Pack
- Loaded Dice Vinyl Wrap
- Scorched Vinyl Wrap
- True Colors Vinyl Wrap
The bulk of content in SnowRunner’s Season Pass will arrive in four different phases. Scheduled to launch apart from each other, each one will have its own theme, introduce a new region, and will be accompanied by free updates.
SnowRunner Season Pass Phase 1 Release Date
Phase One of Snowrunner’s Season Pass content – titled Search & Recover – saw its release date arriving on July 15, 2020.
It introduced the wintry Kola Peninsula environment set in Russia that added the Lake Kovd and Imandra maps, playable both in singleplayer and alongside friends.
The Ford F 750 TUZ 16 “Actaeon” TUZ 108 “Warthog” expanded SnowRunner’s roster of vehicles, alongside new skins and interior items.
The Metal Detector Module and the Prototype Exploration Unit trailer also counted among the new features accessible to Season Pass owners.
Its accompanying free update included a new Taymyr map called The Rift, vehicle skins and interior items, map and modding tools, “xtreme cargo addons”, as well as new missions.
SnowRunner Season Pass Phase 2 Release Date
Titled Explore & Expand, SnowRunner’s Phase 2 introduced Yukon as a new Canadian region containing the Flooded Foothills, Big Salmon Peak on November 16, 2020.
It also refreshed gameplay, adding a new cargo crafting mechanic that players engage with as they build a processing plant from the ground up.
This involves bringing materials and resources to workers, your progress being easily tracked through the growth of your structures as you complete deliveries.
As far as new vehicles go, Season Pass owners can now drive the Caterpillar 770G, Caterpillar TH357, and the Krs 58 Bandit.
New skins alongside upgrades like the KOLOB 74760 and KOLOB 74941 active suspensions were also added in SnowRunner’s Phase 2.
In terms of free updates, all players now have access to new cargo types and new modding features.
SnowRunner Season Pass Phase 3 Release Date
Named Locate & Deliver, Phase 3 sends players to Wisconsin and sees logging making a return on both new and old maps, which is sure to please players who’ve also navigated MudRunner’s rough roads. Grainwoods River and Black Badger Lake are Season 3’s two new 4km² maps.
They task you with repairing a train loading station and clearing the tracks so that log deliveries can resume once more. You’ll need to use generator trailers available in limited numbers to power inactive facilities found “deep in the wilderness.”
Three new vehicles are also on the way in the shape of the International PayStar Twin Steer, Pacific P512 PF, and BOAR 45318, alongside new skins, cosmetic items and add-ons like two types of log grapple.
As far as free content goes, players can expect two new trials, new missions on existing maps, and cosmetic items like curtains and interior stickers. SnowRunner’s Season 3 release date occurred on February 11.
SnowRunner Season Pass Phase 4 Release Date
Scheduled to be last among the SnowRunner Season Pass offerings and called New Frontiers, Phase 4 sends players to Amur Oblast, Russia.
“We have FOUR distinct 4km² maps in a new region cooking, and we can’t wait for you to try them out. Rehabilitate an old Russian rocket launch site for a private company. Rebuild roads, fix fuel lines, and restore housing for the Launchpad staff,” reads a forum post sharing the first details about the upcoming content drop.
The maps are called Urska River, Cosmodrome, Northern Aegis Installation, and Chernokamensk. You can check them out in this video.
The ZiKZ 605 R and Khan 317 Sentinel Scout are Season 4’s two new vehicles, Season Pass owners getting access to exclusive vehicle skins.
Phase 4 also comes with a new set of free content, including trials and more. The SnowRunner Phase 4 release date is slated for May 18.
