Star Wars Battlefront 2 is soon getting its next free content drop, and we're big fans of what it looks like already. The Battle of Geonosis DLC is going to add a huge new battlefield to fight on, as well as a certain legendary Jedi...
Indeed, Obi-Wan Kenobi himself will at long last be making an appearance in Battlefront 2, thus rounding off the consistently expanding hero character selection in the game.
The free Battlefront 2 Battle of Geonosis update is set to go live on 28th of November, and it's going to be featuring an amalgamation of the two versions of Obi-Wan that we know and love: his movie appearance, and his Clone Wars voice.
Obi-Wan Kenobi's selection of skills alludes to his trademark defensive style of combat, with plenty of Force use added to the mix. Defensive Rush is going to allow the Jedi to charge ahead while deflecting blaster fire, whereas the Restrictive Mind Trick will disrupt all of the enemies' abilities for a short while.
As for the rest of the update, the Battle of Geonosis map will feature two separate phases of combat, as well as three new vehicles - including the legendary six-legged AT-TE walker. Stay tuned!
