Star Wars Battlefront 2 is already getting a major expansion of its last month's content drop, the highlight of which was the introduction of the high-stakes, large-scale Capital Supremacy gamemode.
Giants above Kachirho update's most important new addition will undoubtedly be the new game map for Capital Supremacy: Kachirho Beach. That said, Battlefront 2 is also going to get a new appearance set for Leia Organa - the classic Princess look from A New Hope. Nothing quite like a dash of nostalgia, after all.
Battlefront 2 Giants above Kachirho Update Changelog
While Battlefront 2's Kachirho Beach is not entirely new, DICE have announced that the map will receive a lot of changes and alterations in order for it to function better in case of playing Capital Supremacy. While there's no telling just how different will the Capital Supremacy variant of Kachirho Beach be from its Galactic Assault variant. we're guessing the changes will be considerable.
On a related note, the Princess Leia skin will also be unlocked through playing Capital Supremacy, though the exact mechanics of it haven't been revealed just yet. All players will have the chance to unlock Princess Leia starting May 1st, through May 6th, so there should be enough time to get through every hoop.
Aside from this, players should also expect substantial balance updates for numerous heroes. Yoda and Darth Maul's blocking mechanics will be getting a rework, while Anakin Skywalker will receive a slight nerf to his overtuned set of abilities. The entire changelog can be found on the game's EA Community Pages, so be sure to give that a read if you're interested.
