Publisher Slitherine has announced that a Stargate: Timekeepers demo is now available on Steam, celebrating the 29th anniversary of Stargate’s release in cinemas.
Anyone who downloads the demo can try for free the first of seven planned episodes, getting a taste of Timekeepers before its launch at the end of the year.
Stargate: Timekeepers Demo
Developed in-house, Stargate: Timekeepers is a real-time tactics game whose story-driven campaign puts you in charge of a team of specialists, each with their own unique skills.
Cunning and stealth are key to experiencing the entire narrative, which is set after SG-01 Season 07 Episode 21 - The Lost City Part 2.
Stargate: Timekeepers promises a total of 14 missions, which the developer has confirmed will be released as part of two separate seasons.
The demo explores the very start of the campaign, where, as the Battle of Antarctica rages, Commander Eva McCain and her team aid SG-1 against Anubis’ fleet.
Stargate: Timekeepers’ first season is set to launch on PC on December 12, 2023. The second is expected at some point in Q1 2024.
Purchasing the title once grants access to both seasons, with the second’s episodes simply becoming available at a later point in time.
