Futuristic mechs lead the charge in Steel Hunters, publisher and developer Wargaming’s foray into the PvPvE shooter space, and if you plan on mastering one or more of these badass Hunters, chances are that you’re wondering when the free-to-play title is going to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Pitting six teams of two against each other as well as AI-controlled foes, emerging victorious relies on a combination of quick reflexes, synergy, and sound tactics. The weapons, gear, and mods of your highly-customizable mech also play into how well you perform.
Steel Hunters PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release
Sadly, it’s currently unclear when Steel Hunters will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its reveal saw the publisher focusing exclusively on the game’s PC version, which is the platform chosen for pre-launch beta tests.

Whether or not console versions are currently in the works is unclear at the moment, so anyone who doesn’t use a PC for their everyday gaming might have to wait longer.
It’s still possible Steel Hunters will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at a later point in time. We’ll just have to be patient and wait for an official announcement from Wargaming.
