As Stellaris continues along its post-launch support odyssey, the 3.7 update release date will likely mark the first set of significant changes coming to Paradox’s popular grand strategy game in 2023.
Stellaris’ patch 3.7 is a product of the Custodian initiative, whose establishment saw the grand strategy game’s development team split into two. While one half works on paid expansion content, another dedicates itself to releasing free patches every 3 months or so. This gives us a good sense of when the update’s release date might occur.

Since the Orion update went live as November 2022 came to an end, we could take a shot at estimating when Stellaris patch 3.7’s release date might occur.
Based on the current amount of time the developer gives itself to work on each update, we expected it wiykd drop at some point in late February or early March 2023.

Paradox has now confirmed that Stellaris’ patch 3.7, named Canis Minor, has locked down its release date to March 14, 2023, which means the update goes live fairly close to our original estimates, provided no last-minute issues are discovered..
