As you venture through Stray’s forgotten cybercity, you’ll brave dangerous sewers overtaken by organic matter, jump across rooftops, and take in the neon lights adding an extra bit of life to its more populated areas. If you’re someone who has the hardware for it and fancies using HDR, you may be wondering if the game supports it at launch.
Stray’s HDR support hasn’t been discussed a lot prior to release, and there’s a good reason for it, from what we can tell.
Stray HDR Support
Simply put, Stray doesn’t seem to officially feature HDR support, at least at launch. A quick look over the graphics settings you can change reveals that there’s none for HDR.
- Stray HDR support status: Unavailable at launch
At the moment, the sole remaining option for the feature’s enthusiasts is, of course, attempting to enable it in Windows or by using third-party software.
Your mileage will, however, very likely vary, and it may be worth waiting until official support comes. Unfortunately, there’s no word on if or when that might happen.
That’s what we know so far about Stray’s HDR support. For more help with the game, check out our articles on Steam Deck support and the game’s length.
