Publisher Raw Fury wrapped up January with the early access launch of Superfuse, a futuristic hack-and-slash RPG whose cel-shaded art style feels pulled straight out of a comic book.
It’s not just the different setting that refreshes the formula popularized by Diablo II, as the title also gives players a deeper approach to customizing their character’s skills. Superfuse Early Access Giveaway
Superfuse’s early access version has plenty that’s familiar to genre enthusiasts, from hordes of foes that you can decimate – on your own or alongside up to three other friends – to three different playable classes and plenty of gear that improves your character’s stats.
Its main draw, however, comes in the shape of its Fuse System, which allows players to customize individual character skills. A separate menu gives you a board full of hexes, with your chosen skill in the center. As you play, you collect Fuses that you can apply to the board, changing not just the potency of your skills but also their behavior, allowing you to adapt your build as you carve a path of destruction through scores of enemies.
To celebrate Superfuse entering early access we’re giving away five copies of the game to a few lucky readers.
