The improved and upgraded version of Swords and Soldiers 2, from the developers of the long-running sidescrolling MOBA Awesomenauts, features a much better multiplayer functionality, alongside the usual bonus of having more content in general.
Swords and Soldiers 2: Shawarmageddon offers a unique side-scrolling RTS experience, where players have to push against one another's forces in an effort to control as much of the map as possible, and finally crush the opposing headquarters at the far end.
Shawarmageddon allows players to choose from three wildly different factions, with a selection of about 50 units, buildings, and spells - both in the 10-hour singleplayer campaign, and in the custom multiplayer modes supporting both split-screen and online matches.
As an added bonus for fans of Awesomenauts - whoever purchases Swords and Soldiers 2 on Steam will get a free additional skin for one of the heroes: Helgø Scoop, which is just a cherry on top of this lovely side-scrolling cake.
