Tangle Tower is a quirky mystery-adventure game that has just launched as part of Apple Arcade, but if you were worried that it’s an exclusive release, breathe easy. Tangle Tower is set to launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch soon as well.
This odd and dream-like detective game will put players smack-dab in the middle of a murder investigation that’s taken a weird turn. It just so happens that the main suspect of said murder is a painting.
There’s not much we know about Tangle Tower, short of the fact that it looks rather interesting. The gameplay trailer shows a fully-voiced and richly-animated cast of characters and suspects, and an impressively varied selection of puzzles to solve.
It’s interesting that Tangle Tower’s launch is spearheaded on Apple Arcade. This gaming subscription service offers a wide variety of games that players can access all at the same time, provided that they’re subscribed to it. Also important is that you can play Tangle Tower on any of your iOS devices, which makes it a real treat for mobile gamers.
For the more classically-inclined adventure game fans, Tangle Tower will also launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch. This secondary launch date is coming up on October 10, so in two weeks’ time. If you’d prefer playing the game on PC instead of your mobile device, you’ll have to buy Tangle Tower for £15.49. Something similar will happen with Beyond a Steel Sky, too, which is worth keeping in mind.
