Tech Support: Error Unknown is one of those games that just aren't for everybody. In fact, it could be said that it's not even the sort of experience that'd interest most people, but it certainly does know what its niche is.
This tech helpdesk simulator may look like a goofy game in the vein of all those various Simulator games, but that's not what it is. Instead, we're looking at a dystopian adventure game with an interface much more nuanced and complex than we are used to.
Masked as a wonderfully corporate announcement, the latest press release on Tech Support has offered a glance at the game's many interesting features. Playing the game, players will have to contend with such things as answering emails, resolving IT problems, scouring the ingame version of the Internet, and remotely connecting to smartphones.
Eventually, an ominous conspiracy will unravel, and then players will have to juggle between doing their job and actually finding out just what the hell is even going on. A real boon for the fans of dystopic media among us, really.
Great news is - if you're even a tiny bit interested in how Tech Support: Error Unknown works, you can go ahead and download the demo right now via Steam, and give it a whirl that way. The full release is slated for February of 2019, so if you find yourself enjoying this trial version, you know what to do.
