Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Party Code too long Error
Sumo Digital has acknowledged the issue of players not being able to form a party in certain multiplayer matches of Texas Chain Saw Massacre, saying on Twitter that it’s currently “aware of an invite bug causing lobby join codes to exceed 6 characters. The team is investigating and will update once we know more.”.
Players began voicing concerns on platforms like Reddit and the Steam forums shortly after the game’s launch, identifying an issue that seems beyond our control. The problem arises from the system generating a 7-digit code for joining a game, while only permitting the entry of a six-digit code. Sumo Digital is aware of the issue and is likely to resolve it pretty quickly.
We don’t believe this makes any difference if you’re using the crossplay support that the game includes, although it would be worth keeping an eye on the server status to see if Sumo Digital needs to take the servers down at any point today to release a patch fix for this problem.
