Terra Invicta took a good while to get here and, as the ambitious grand strategy game begins its stay in early access, its first mods already let players alter their experience of fending off aliens and pushing deeper into the solar system.
The inclusion of day-one Steam Workshop support likely played a role in how short a time it took for Terra Invicta’s first mods to become available.
Terra Invicta Mods
One of the first Terra Invicta mods that caught our eye adds cheats in the shape of a new researchable project. Once researched, it opens up other repeatable projects that buff aspects such as your national investment points, mining speed, terrestrial military buffs, and more.
If you’re the expansionistic type and want fewer headaches, another Terra Invicta mod increases the control point cap while doubling the bonus gained from Management Research.
If fleets defecting is getting you down, there’s also a mod that makes that no longer happen to you.
Another interesting pick, albeit in a prototype stage, is Tiberium Invicta, which “aims to port the geopolitical state just before the events of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars to Terra Invicta.”
This includes adding Tiberium which spreads and grows over time and reworking the tech tree while retaining the vanilla factions in the new geopolitical setting.
More Terra Invita mods will likely be added as development continues, so we certainly have some interesting times ahead.
At the same time, it’s worth remembering that as the game gets updated – and this is prone to happen quite a bit, considering how it’s in early access – some of the mods in this article might break.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it won’t happen all that often and will scour the depth of space for more awesome Terra Invicta mods as they make their presence known.
