Side cases like Forlorn Woman are an opportunity to explore The Sinking City’s world and learn more about it and its inhabitants. They can, however, be a bit nebulous in terms of what’s required to complete them.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the Forlorn Woman side case in the recently released The Sinking City.
The Sinking City Forlorn Woman Side Case
It would be more accurate to call Forlorn Woman a sub-side case, as it is actually a part of the Letters from Oakmont side case. As the title suggests, you’re tasked with finding a series of letters which aren’t always easy to track down.
To get to the right location, you’re going to have to use The Sinking City’s map, which should be familiar enough by now. Look for the intersection of the Old Church Road and Fitz O’Callahan Street, to the southwest of the Devil’s Reef Hotel. You’ll likely have to use the boat to get there.
Once you’ve arrived, look for a door marked with two vertical lines crossed by a horizontal line. That’s where you need to go in order to complete the Forlord Woman side case. It’s a good idea to crouch upon entering as the house has some rather monstrous inhabitants.
Go left past the boat, forward through the broken wall, edge right and go up the stairs to the left. At the top of the stairs turn 180 degrees and go through the door. You should spot a table adorned with a white tablecloth and a broken chair near it. Pick up the letter on the table and that should complete the Forlorn Woman side case.
