The Surge 2 is out now, and as a sci-fi Souls-like action-RPG goes, it's something pretty special. Nevertheless, games are expensive and there's a heck of a lot of good ones out right now, so is there a The Surge 2 demo to try out?
The first game The Surge absolutely got a demo, so will the sequel? Or, if people want to check out the game before they make up their mind on whether to buy it, is there another way to do so? Let's have a look.
Is there a The Surge 2 demo?
As mentioned, the first game The Surge received a demo for people to try out the game before they bought it, so it seems logical that the sequel would also get a demo too. Well, sadly, at the moment this doesn't appear to be the case - there is no demo for The Surge 2, which is a big shame.
So what can you do if you don't want to buy The Surge 2 without knowing more about it? Firstly you can check out our review, of course, which should give you all the info you need to make up your mind about the game. Secondly, you can wait and see if a demo turns up - sometimes these things take a few weeks.
Alternatively, have you played The Surge 1? If not give that game a go - either the demo or pick up the full game for cheap. It's best described as a sci-fi take on Dark Souls, so if you're a fan of the Souls-like action-RPG gameplay, you've already got a fair idea what to expect from The Surge 2.
