Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly today announced that historical grand strategy game Total War: Pharaoh has locked down the release date of both its digital and physical versions to October, while sharing details about its early access weekend dates.
Total War: Pharaoh’s digital version is set to release on October 11, while the physical Limited Edition becomes available in Europe after almost two weeks, on October 23.
Players who pick up the latter get access to the game alongside cosmetic packs and a double-sided poster, which includes both a stylized campaign map and portraits of faction leaders.
Anyone who pre-orders also receives a set of early adopter bonuses that includes the Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack, the Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic pack, alongside a ticket to participate in the title’s upcoming early access weekend.
Slated to take place between Friday, September 29 and Monday, October 2, Total War: Pharaoh’s early access weekend gives participants a taste of how Ramesses and Irsu – two of the eight playable launch leaders – play over the course of 60 turns of strategic campaign gameplay.
