Publsiher Sega and developer Creative Assembly today announced that Total War: Three Kingdoms’ first expansion pack, The Furious Wild, now has a release date.
Players will be able to conquer China as the expansion’s four new, savage factions when Total War: Three Kingdoms - The Furious Wild launches on September 3. All factions can be played in both the 190 and 194 start dates.
Part of the Nanman culture and led by tribal warlords Meng Huo, King Mulu, Lady Zhurong, and King Shamole, Furious Wild’s new additions employ more than 25 new units, including ranged blowpipe users, flaming mace infantry but also massive elephants or vicious tigers.

Total War: Three Kingdoms - The Furious Wild also expands the game’s map by adding the jungles of southern China, where the new factions hail from.
A new tech tree and mechanics specific to The Furious Wild factions will also be added alongside unique missions and events built specifically for the Nanman culture.
Alongside the paid Total War: Three Kingdoms - The Furious Wild expansion – which will be available for the price of £14.99/€18.99/$18.99 when its September 3 release date occurs – players will also be treated to a batch of free content.
Thus, the upcoming free additions include Han Warlord Shi Xie, the flame-firing Juggernaut artillery unit, Gate Battles, and more.
